(MERGED): mercury morris's ring / Here's an idea

Man, I wish I was 5 years older and on my feet, I would definetely bid for that.. Can you imagine a Dolphin fan having a 1972 SB ring with him?? Thats hard core..

whoever wins the bid, get their ebay account. then get their email & aim. find his a**, explain that you're shula's nephew.. & go make him give it to you..

what?

That's sad.... I mean really sad.

If I had the money, I would buy it and give it back to him.... he earned it, the buyer did not, and to suggest that someone steal it, is beyond reprehensible. He should be wearing it when he passes away...

Thats a good idae Wharf.

# of members x X amount of dollars = Morris getting his ring back.

I'd do it.

He'd probably just sell it again.

Money will make you do stupid things, even the people we may admire the most.

If I was out of college and had everything financially correct, I would buy it.

I would too... If we could get 1000 members to shell out $20 each, it would cover it.... how would that look?:

Dolphin Fan Site members at FinHeaven & Co (www.finheaven.com), spring for Morris Super Bowl ring... then give it back in ceremony at ProPlayer.

Yes, it's sad. But I'd never hand the guy $20,000. If I get that ring, I'm keeping it. If he wants it back, give me $25,000. Shoooot..

Looking at that date, it looks like he sold it a while ago and now the person he sold it to is selling it on eBay.
