Very typical, and very dumb. Moore isnt much worse than Garrard. Why would they do this hours before kicking off week 1 on MNF? If this picks up steam on the mnf broadcast and people start hearing it nationally, it could explode. Imagine some ******* dolfans chanting "we want garrard" if Henne has a bad series!? Ugh!!!
 
He would be a backup. Does he want to be? Maybe he wont want to play for the Colts knowing Peyton will probably be back in 2/3 months.

But people, IF it does happen it will not happen today. It would probably happen tomorrow or Wednesday.

Maybe they will pick him up and then trade him sometime in the future
 
If true, I hope its as a backup for now... They need to show support for Henne and give him a proper chance. If he fails by midseason, make the switch to Garrard to save the season.
 
Oh boy...nothing like giving Henne a vote of confidence hours before kickoff.

you aren't winning **** with david garrard...wake up...his ceiling is 9-7...congrats...and thats if he gives you 16 games which will never happen...he'll be hurt in no time
 
i think henne responds better when he feels dissed this may boost hennes game tonight

Hey, think of it this way:

If we sign Garrard, then we'll probably cut Mastrud or Spitler. :rolleyes2:
