are you guys seriously saying Garrard is NOT an upgrade over Moore. WHat exactly are you basing that opinion on because statistically there is no comparison. I find it funny that all you 2 weeks ago were saying how idiotic Miami was to ONLY bring moore in. Now all the sudden Garrard is not worth a back up qb role? I, for one, look at anything that improves this teams chances of winning as worth it. Truth is Garrard at back up improves Miamis chances of winning if Henne gets hurt or fails like last year. All you guys crying about Miami being bad enough to get Luck can just let it go. There is no way, no matter who Miami's qb is, they finish in the top 3 picks. This team is solid in most areas. What kind of "fan" complains about their supposed favorite team upgrading a position because they want them to not win more games? I am starting to realize that most of you just complain to complain. I am looking forward to a good season and if they decide to bring in Garrard (career 85.9 passer rating) then so be it. He is not being brought in to start...he would be a back up!

IMO its Henne or bust for these guys, but I can't blame them for taking a look at Garrard. He isn't that bad of a QB, and god knows they never gave him any realistic options at WR in Jacksonville.

The guy has the mobility they want w/o the baggage of a VY. Seems like an ideal fit to be honest.
 
This is called improving the team. Finally a smart move by an otherwise idiotic office.

i think 9-7 was probably too much love on my part in the first place...to be honest...
 
I doubt that there is any truth to this.

The Dolphins have CLEARLY indicated that Chad Henne is the Quarterback of this football team. They didn't move on Orton, they didn't move on Palmer, they didn't sign anyone Hasselbeck or Vince Young. They didn't draft Ryan Mallet, or another Quarterback in the first (OR second) round of the draft. Right or wrong, they stuck with Chad Henne. They're not going to sign Garrard, and if they do it will ONLY be in the event of a bad injury and probably not in the event Chad Henne completely exploding somehow - which wont happen as he will continue his career of consistent mediocre play.

If they DID sign Garrard, they would still not be good enough to win a Super Bowl because David Garrard is not a good enough Quarterback to do so. So who even cares?
 
You know I do not mind them checking the guy out and if the price is right and he has a good additude then you take him Ireland is just doing his job which is what he is suppose to do.
 
For the Dolphins this is a bad move, however is a good move for Sparano/Ireland, their ***** are on the hot seat they need to win now.
 
bring him in .lets see the real reason why we have only 2qbs on our 53
