as do i.....if we have the right offseason....look i expect a good year but the offseason has to fall in place, i expect at least a 9-7 year, anything worse i may be a little mad unless injuries ruin us, the best i think we'll do is 13-3 and thats a big strech, really i think 10-6 or 11-5 is the best prediction

It's either the Fins or Buffalo on Thanksgiving Day at the Lions....my guess is it will be the FINS!!!!

The Bills are on a downfall right now (or plainly they suck), and the Fins are coming back to NFL's elite.

Knowing that Detroit may not be a strong team either, the league may put a suck team against another suck them...I hope not.

All odds point to Miami on Thanksgiving next year. We are a much better team then the Bills right now, and you have a bigger draw on national TV then the Bills.

If CBS wants to have a lot of people watching on Thanksgiving, they will choose the Dolphins. No question about it.

But do you think the fact we were there 2 years ago will make a difference? I hope we get the game. Also, if the Bills draft some stud or pull off a big free agency move, I wouldn't be surprised if we get shafted.

P.S. Anyone want to make a bet on how long it will take before someone creates a '2006 Schedule Forum'? Just kidding staff, y'all do a good job. merge this ;)

I don't think what happened to us in 2004 really matters. I mean, we have ONE losing season between 1988 and 2005. Other then 2004, the Bills continue to have very bad years.

One other thing, this years FA and draft won't affect the schedule. For starters, the schedule is released right before the draft.

You missed 12-4 in your prediction.

I agree with that, Nub. I also agree with the original poster about liking our schedule. We have seen schedule posts before, but usually people complaining that "we have a tough schedule, the NFL is out to get us, my dog just died while looking at our shockingly hard schedule, whaa whaa whaa", etc.
#1 Our schedule is not that bad at all. I mean, we always get 4 games against the Bills and Jets, plus a few other easy ones in there (I mean should be easier than playing a top notch team). Nothing's a given but come on.... it's a fair schedule.
#2 If anyone ever complains, I remind them that we only get ready for the playoffs by playing playoff calibre teams. That is the ultimate goal.
I think our schredule gives us a chance to get some wins, and test ourselves too. A good mix.

Looking at the schedule i think that we can be competitive in every game. The game i am looking most forward to is the Colts/Miami game. I think if we can take down a high powered team like the colts, than i think that will be a sign of how much we have progressed under Nick Saban.

Looking at that schedule...I think we have an excellent shot at 10 or 11 games. I hope we do get the Thanksgiving Day game but I hope we don't get another Monday-Sunday-Saturday with travel thing like we got a couple times in the past.
