Mike Mularkey to interview with Dolphins for OC

Scott Linehan was officially hired by the St. Louis Rams as its next head coach, leaving the Dolphins to possibly look locally for his replacement.

Fromer Buffalo head coach Mike Mularkey is expected to interview with the Dolphins today. Mularkey, a native of Fort Lauderdale who attended the University of Florida, still has family in the area.

Mike Mularkey interviews today 4 coordinator job

According to the herald Mike Mularkey has interviewed for the fin offensive coordinator job. I recall him being an innovated coordinator for the Steelers several years back. I think he would be a good fit here.

If you thought Linehan was bad with the reverses, you ain't seen nothing yet.

All he eved did in Pittsburgh was double reverses into a WR pass.

i would not mind that at all he is a good oc and a good coach and a native of fl he might stay with us for awile.....

I would endorse this move. I'm not convinced that he's the greatest OC in the world, but there appear to be somewhat limited options.

Beyond that, I'd love to hear what he could tell us about Buffalo. :)

he likes to run the ball, which is alway a plus when you have two potential pro bowlers waiting on some action.

Just becuause he was a bad HC doesn't make him a bad Coordinator. Still I would want to see the Fins get someone else.
