Former Vikings T Mike Rosenthal is one of many players practicing with the Dolphins on a tryout basis this week.

If all goes well, the team will sign the former starter to add depth to their tackle group.

I hope we sign this guy, he has massive size and has filled in nicely when there have been injuries for the Vikings. I think he can provide depth and help out with versatility across the line. I know several of you have been pulling for this guy.

I am a dolphins fan stuck in Minnesota and I have seen plenty of Vikings games. Enough, at least, to know that this guy A) got cut from the right side of an O-Line that is as bad as the Dolphins left side and B) has more false starts than good plays when he is playing!

Dont Sign him!

I was thinking mainly as a backup and we do have a very good O-line coach that can help him with whatever is causing his problems. I was thinking as starter material.

6'7", 315 lbs......a big body....why not. He can be used as depth or a starter. We have one of the best coaches to bring him along.

As a 9 year veteran, he shouldn't need to be "brought along". He should be a finished player, perhaps not quite an elite player.

I meant as far as how the Fins would be blocking and such... Not like you would a rookie....sorry

This guy sounds a lot like Mike Pearson last year, except Pearson could use injuries as an excuse for why his career stalled.

He was the weak link on the line when Culpepper was there, never been anything special. He has plenty of starting experience though and he's good depth behind Carey.
