Merged: Nate Jones to be Signed

good, let nate jones play the nickel and will allen backup davis and smith, davis might not play sunday and I would much rather have allen in coverage than nolan carroll!

stop your complaining man, he is a huge upgrade over nolan cant cover a 5 year old caroll, give us a break.
 
We picked up Igor Oshansky and now Nate Jones? We released Larry Johnson, who else did we release?

That's what I was thinking but I didn't want to come right out and say it.

I thought he should have been cut on the last cuts and we should have kept Benny Sapp and Will Allen. Sapp has made more plays than Carroll but it's not saying much. We'll see if it actually happens.

He played well for Nolan when he was in Denver. That D was pretty legit until Mcduffis ****ed it up. Although they had Dumerville pressuring the hell out of QBs.
 
Jones was a darkhorse for us, hopefully he still has it
 
wow, with these 2 guys added we should start piling up the wins now.This is what I'm talking about....keep changing the roster on a day to day basis........inconsistency can be great for a team........I mean, look at our o-line.....we've had 3 new starters now for 4 years in a row and look how great they are.

i like this signing. i loved nate jones back in the 2008 season when we won the division. he was a very underrated player and i never understood why we let him go. he made some underratedly big plays for us.

nice signing, and as people have mentioned hes a big upgrade over Carroll.
 
carrolls a boundary guy...not a nickle...so i don't see where adding nate jones who can't play the boundary plays into carroll at all...unless will allen will shift to the boundary now...which might be the case
