Now that ricky has screwed us agian and will be gone for next year, who will we get to back up ronnie. you cant expect travis minor to be the 2nd stringer.

I heard somewhere that TJ Duckett might be a free agent.

Duckett could be a possibility. There are a couple FA running backs that we could sign cheap to be the backup. There is always the posibility that Saban could draft a running back in the mid-late rounds, but with only 7 total picks, he may not.

Don't worry, we have PLENTY of time to find a decent backup for Ronnie.

I'm pretty sure Najeh Davenport out of Green Bay is going to be an UFA. I would love to see him back in Miami. I think he would be a solid back up to Ronnie even though he's coming off an injury.

i think that lendale is not the right choice. he is too good to be 2nd string and he will complain about it. Is there a chance that saban will take joseph addai, he is the rb from lsu coming out in the draft?

joseph addai is said to go in the second round. this is who we should draft

1st- winston justice OT USC
2nd- joseph addai RB LSU
3rd- Charlie whitehurst QB Clemson

We don't need to draft a running back that high when he have Ronnie. It would be insane to pay another running back a huge contract just so he splits time with another highly paid running back. The nice thing about Ricky was that he was so good at a cheap price. It would be crazy to spend that much money at one position. Plus, we have other areas in greater need then the backup running back position.

Also, White is going to be a fulltime starter for some team.
