i know many of us have been fed up with the crew of nfl live lately, with the exception of merril hodge, but for those who still bother to care on nfl live they just did an eddition of buying it or not and with ofcourse qbs comming off of injury and all of them said they were not buying what dolphin players were saying about dauntes health and not buying that he will be the starter sept 7th against the steelers......i dont know why its so hard for these guys just to listen to our head coach and dauntes medical doctors, i know a few will say that this is a stupid thread because who really cares what the people of nfl live have to say but like i said its for those who still bother to care what the idiots over at nfl live still have to say....anyways i hope daunte can use all of these reports of not being at full health by the time of the season as fuel, and that we all know that he will be under center september 7th :dolphins: .....GO DOLPHINS AND GO DAUNTE!!!

It's too early to take any of them seriously. Let see what camp brings, and the pre-season. That will give them time to change there stories again. Keep the Faith!:wink:

i Think its hillarious that a guy who looks like he never played football in his life, (Trey Wingo) a backup quarterback his whole career (Sean Salsbury) and a mediocre defensive lineman, who used to play for us no less (mike Golic) think they know soo much about who will be our starting quarterback or make any predictions for that matter on what teams will do this season. I think they focused on their careers about as much as they focused on their predictions.

Think of it this way. If player A tore three ligaments in his knee last October, would YOU expect him to play less than a year later? I mean, people tear ACL's and are out just as long. Daunte tore THREE ligaments (ACL, PCL, MCL) and is hoping to START the PRESEASON opener, let alone Sept. 7th.
I think I may be skeptical too. As Fin Fan said, training camp will tell us a lot, as will the pre-season. Daunte in real live situations with pads on, getting hit, will let us know where he is at for Sept. 7th in my opinion.

They haven't because there is always the possibility of a setback.
But it has seemed like the "great" NFL Live Know-it-alls have gone especially out of there way to absolutely DRIVE HOME the point that Daunte won't be ready for "at least the first 6 games," or however many they said.
That would be all fine and dandy if Daunte was still hobbling around, not taking part in drills, resting here and there and not fully participating.
But we all know that has not been the case. He hasn't missed a workout. He hasn't missed a practice. He's running, cutting, making all the handoffs, etc...
His knee tested at 100% strength on a Cybex machine. (That's more relevant than you think.) It's a litmus test for how much range of motion the knee has.
But these bafoons on that show just REFUSE to pay attention to his progress and say what they want to say just because they think their great opinions hold more water than the facts.
And the facts are, as of right now, Daunte Culpepper is AHEAD of schedule and clearly on pace to be ready for the season opener on September 7th.
Is he 100 percent yet? No.
But by the time the Pittsburgh game rolls around it will have been more than 10 months since his surgery. Not the injury. Surgery.
I just don't get how these clowns on TV think their view is correct but the Dolphins' players, coaches, DOCTORS AND DAUNTE HIMSELF are wrong.
It's mind-boggling.

Why does everybody think espn is out to get the fins. They just cover the team that wins all the time which happens to the pats. But after next year they will be covering us all the time. also every body seems to think that espn is all crap well me i lve me some sportscenter. as for the nfl crew there not giving out facts its all opinons there giving out do i think they are wrong about the fins you bet your *** i do
