I fail to see how it improves our run game. He barely got LaMont Jordan over 1,000 and Miami actually rushed for more yards than Oakland as a whole. I agree, it wouldn't be wise for us to even consider this if Linehan moves on.

But he did GET LaMont (who isn't nearly as talented as R&R) over 1,000 yards in his first year as a starter. And Norv didn't have as much input into the offense as he did here because he had to worry about Oakland's piss poor Defense as well.

what you dont realize is that we are trying to leave the old Dolphins behind, bringing him back would be a horrible decision, IMO i think Saban should really have a man to man talk with linehan and show him that if he wants to wear one of those beautyful superbowl rings he should stay here

Ricky will have a monster year when he has like 35+ carries a game. Norv was no genious. All he did was hand the ball off to Ricky. Norv Turner should thank Ricky Williams for getting him the job in Oakland in the first place.

Nick will do what is best. I would much rather stay with Linehan than go back to Turner. When he was here, I personally felt that our offense was boring (with the exception of watching Ricky run over the league). Remember that there will be alot of other people interviewing for jobs besides Linehan.

i think NT was handcuffed bigtime by the hardcore star with the mustache, i wonder what he would do with saban as head coach, although i want SL to stay, i would be pissed if he is gone after just one year

Please no Norv, he ran Rickys D1ck in the dirt last time, Im sure Saban would not let that happen again ,but where has he been successful other than Dallas with the triplets and a great defense.

I'd rather keep Linehan than pickup Norv, not that I think Norv is a bad OC, I just hate always changing systems. When Norv was here before I really believe Wanny had him hancuffed for the most part, (run, run, run, pass).
I'm not real worried, Saban will do whats best... Man, it feels good to have faith in a coach again.
