Now that Calvin Pace has signed with the Jets. Who do we go after?

Adam Schefter is reporting we are most likely taking Chris Long with the #1 pick since we need a pass-rusher and there aren't any left on the market.

I'd say we bring in Darryl Blackstock for a visit. I also wouldnt be suprised if we signed RT Shane Olivea, he was cut in the wake of Free Agency and hasnt had any visits or anything with other teams. That could also be a position we address in the draft.. I'd rather have a proven guy like Olivea though.

I'd much rather have Chris Long than Calvin Pace anyday.

No big names will be targets. Blackstock will be looked at and may end up being here.

I would have to believe Clark Haggans
he is a very good OLB from a 3-4 system. A stop gap guy not a long term solution.

Maybe Blacksock but with the money that Pace got who knows

Now that this whole soap opera with Pace is over, who else are we interested in. I know we were set to be very interested in Marques Douglas, but I have not heard anything else. I think according to boomer he was about to be signed. Me personally I would love for to try and guy like Fabini or Olivea. It would also be nice to pick up a guy like Mccree. Who do you guys want to be next?

i dont know..??.. I would say work out a deal with Atlanta for D Hall. Thats about the only realistic big thing we could do. I remember Tuna brought in 2 nice corners(1 via draft) in Dallas one of his first years there.

Moss agreed to a Deal with NE. One of the guys I seriously wanted during the Offseason before we signed Smiley was Jacob Bell, maybe we can make a run at him now after not signing Pace. With Carey,Satele,Smiley and if we sign Bell we would have one of the youngest and most successful lines in the NFL

Hall is still a possibility us and the Giants were the only two teams interested in him. The Giants backed out cause of what he wanted to get paid. Now, we didnt sign Pace so we have the money. Im guessing we could try and trade draft position. Our 1st for theirs and Hall or we can send them our 32nd pick for Hall. One or the other will be fine.

I'd love to see Olivea signed. And I wouldn't worry if Tunaland decided to draft Jake Long as well, but logic would kinda rule him out...


The bottom line is we still need two starting OL...Olivea would be one of them...
