The only knock on him is that he drops the ball too much, but he got a major bump in production in his senior year.

And here comes all the so called "experts" saying how stupid we are for taking "Turner". McShay and Kiper are a joke.

I like the upside, but Duke Robinson would have been awesome for depth since we need a good interior backup OL. I wonder if the FO was targeting Barden with this pick

ran a 4.58 40, 22 reps on bench, never heard of this guy, but im excited we drafted a wr. my only concern is USC WR have never been successful, from mike williams to the guy the panthers drafted, jarred something, so im a little worri

Turner was a reach. Not happy with this pick. Meredith, Robinson or a TE would've been much better value IMO.

With their Wilford history, not sure I can blindly trust Bill/Jeff on this one.

I don't think he was a reach. Bottom of the 3rd, top of the 4th is about where he should have gone.

My thoughts exactly. It kills me Barden before they get to the board and Sintim right after Pat White.

All the ESPN jokers said it was a bad pick...a reach. However, NFLN coverage had more positives to say about it. He was highly recruited out of high school but just didn't live up to his billing. NFLN said his best football is ahead of him. Let's hope so. We can all have our opinions....but honestly who should know better than us? Parcell's & Co.

Turner is a bit slow, but looks like a good choice. Maybe we can send him to Cris Carter's speed training school.

Turner had a good year, 15.1 YPC, plus 10 TDs, over 700 yards receiving.

We've got lots of short guys and #2 receivers.... #1 Receivers generally need to be tall... and 6'5" is tall. He's a project, but I like the pick.

:shakeno: I don't like this one either. All the guys I wanted us to take got picked right before us :boohoo:and on top of that, It's a reach. So that makes two picks I like (Davis and Smith) and two picks I don't like (White and Turner).
