Not trying to steal Ben’s thunder here, considering the effort he’s expended to give fans a peek into practice each day.

But Ben is monitoring the John Beck situation, if in fact there is one. I expect he’ll be at practice, doesn’t make much sense to make the decision now.

Tony Saprano already said in his first PC today that the rumors were not true and Beck would be at practice.

Update in.

All four QBs are taking snaps in individual drills.

Coach Tony Sparano said earlier today he’d evaluate Holliday following the evening practice. Based on that, Holliday won’t be playing at Jacksonville this weekend.

I'll bet that Henne, Penny and especially McCown are hoping like hell that Beck gets cut.

Beck and McCown are gettin' some work again. Maybe everyone read too much into the whole "Penny and Henne getting all the snaps thing?" Or maybe they're just trying to let them get some rest.

Maybe I read wrong, but it seems Henne had a pretty good practice too, and Beck had good moments but he did have an INT. McCown also had a some moments this afternoon it seems. CP has been struggling somewhat it seems.

And that sums up our QB situation. Our projected starter has been struggling, and our sophomore, rookie and journeyman have played ranging from decent to bad. I want to be optimistic but I have seen too many years of inconsistency to take heart.
