Does this mean we will b a run first team in a passing league

The jaguars during that time period has leftwich and garrard-- hardly the most mobile QBs.. I mean I know garrard was mobile but he took a lot of sacks.  Anyway, here is to hoping Heck is better than Sparano at coaching the o line :0)

Jaguars have had some pretty decent OLs even from a pass blocking stand point. In recent years the issues on the Jags offense has been a lack of help for MJD
 
You would be run first too if Blaine Gabbert was you QB.
 
Whoever will get the most out of our line. There is a lot of potential with our group and could become of the strongest units in the league.
 
would love to get a good coach in there

we have way to much f'n talent (and used resources) on our oline for them not to be dominant. Seriously, a number 1 overall pick, two mid first rounders. We should have a dominant o line if for good coaching
 
That would be a great hire. I'm really impressed with the kind of people Coach Philbin is lining up.
 
The pass-blocking numbers are very unimpressive...If he's hired, I hope he can make the best with what we have. I'm not even sure we have 3 solid starters on this team.

not philbins fault if teams wont let guys go.
 
I'd rather call Dallas and see if Houck is available. Everywhere he's gone the lines have performed.

we dont.

we have 1 [pouncy] and a half [jake long] and i say half because he is injury plauged right now. he has been playing at 70% or less for over a year and who knows whats coming up. as a back patient myself, i can tell you this will ALWAYS be an issue for him. the rest of his life. and he will NEVER be 100% again. but a 90% jake is pretty dmaned good!!

carey should have retired 3 years back, or been out of here.

colombo? really? and i am on the fence with incognito. hes not trash but hes not probowl either.

throw in the fact our depth is also poop, we need o-line in the worst way. get a REAL o-line in here, get a full camp and watch MATT MOORE go to the probowl.

its just so funny to me. for years everyone blamed o-line and screamed for new o-line when it was our skill players who were junk. we now have good skill players, moore, bush and marshall, but everyone wants them traded or gone, when its FINALLY the o-line thats crap!!

so throw in the fact we DONT have 3 solid guys on this line and we have no decent depth, we need to hit it hard in f/a and the draft.

if we go after the right f/a guys [nicks, grubbs] we could easily have a pro bowl line this year. get depth in the draft.
