Merged: PLEASE put Jay Fiedler back into the starting line-up!!!

AJ sure as hell doesnt look like he's ready to play yet...our O-line isnt either...we need a qb with more experience! This has got to be the worst season I can remember... :shakeno:

:goodnight

you think JF can do better? :roflmao: we dont have an OL that can block anybody. plus, we cant run the ball, JF would only be a lame duck throwing wobbly passes.

No. There is a minimum passer rating of 10 that you need to have to start on this team. Jay is at 8. Sorry.

PLEASE, AS MAD AS I AM RIGHT NOW, YOU ARE REALLY PISSING ME OFF WITH THAT "PUT JAY FIEDLER BACK CRAP"..HE HAD 4 YEARS TO DO IT, AND CAN'T THROW MORE THAN 10 YARDS...
P.S. HOW MUCH YOU GET PAY TO WRITE NONSENSE/CRAP LIKE THAT ON A NATIONAL WEBSITE...

Marino with his quick release would have a hard time getting a throw off the other night behind that line, everyone needs to quit harping and blaming Feeley. Let the guy get the experience this year and we can see if he is the QB for this team or not if the line gets better. We all sure know, or should that Fiedlers not the QB of the future here.

No QB can play behind this line so let's leave Feeley in? Weren't many saying the same thing last year but it was all Jay's fault at the time? How many of last year's line is still employed? 2? We don't want to create a "QB Controversy" ? Haven't we had one every season for the last few years? Aren't we in one now? Jay has one bad 1/2 and Feeley's "IN" and our QB controversy is 'over' and we shouldn't consider Jay anymore so as to stick with '1' guy? If Fiedler has outperformed Feeley all preseason (which he has...regardless how fast Feeley may throw a ball....didn't BG's passes look nicer?) why didn't Dave stick with him and/or not give the spot back to him? Consistency? Wouldn't it be better to have chambers/mcmichael with Fiedler who they've worked with for a couple of years?

I'd say it was a poor decision if Dave was going to put Feeley in the starting spot this year to not give him full reps in the preseason. That said...Fiedler for now gives us a better chance of winning as a whole and Feeley should be given a couple more months of practice time and learning the offense before given the starting spot, especially since he hasn't outplayed Fiedler except for 1/2 of a single game. Deciding all of a sudden after 1/2 a game to put Feeley in prime-time and let him "learn" during the season during 'real' games is/was a bad call IMO.

And no...I don't think Fiedler is king but neither is Feeley up for prime-time and should have been learning the offense full-time months ago if he is our starting QB...if not he's still too inexperienced and needs at least another month or two to develop and learn the offense more.

Fiedler seemed to only win when we had a running game going. We don't have anywhere near a running game.

For the umpteenth time now. No QB could play behind this Oline. AJ will be good.

That sounds like the same mess everyone said when Brian Griese was playing horrible.... Yet for some reason we won games when Fiedler came back. hmmm....

Any one that says we need to put Fiedler back into the starting line-up obviously has not been watching the phins over the last four years. I would rather see A.J. play through his growing pains, because everybody allready knows the Kiebler Elf can't get the job done. The only team Fiedler needs to start for is the nearest Arena league team:lol: .

Which way is the wind blowing today?

Relax guys....One completed pass against the steelers and 90% of the people who want jay to play are going to love Feeley again.

How many games you think Jay can win with this team?

did you see all the bad throws and bad decisions feeley made. he would have thrown another interception returned for a touchdown if mcmichael didnt tip that one a way and make a good defensive play. his touchdown to chambers was a horrible pass he is just lucky chambers is one of the best recievers in the league. cincinatti dropped a bunch of other could have been interceptions too. he is horrible. his decision making sucks.

Would Have? Fiedler would have thrown 4 or more Vs Tenn. What do you expect him to do with the blitz putting him on his back every play he had to try to make something happen that was the only way we could have won cause we couldn't do anything else.

How about step up around the rush??? How about running somewhere other than 10 yards backward??? These are things an experienced quarterback would have done.

If A.J. Feeley is the FUTURE of this team for more than the next 14 games then I think we might be in for a long decade.

A.J. has a better arm to throw the deep pass!!! How many passes has he completed for more than 20 yards in the air???

A.J. is going to become a great quarterback!!! You must be watching a different game than I am because I havent seen anything that points to that happening.

Jay isnt the best QB in the league or even close for that matter but I would have put him under center way before I put A.J. We have lost 2 games because he doesnt know the offense. He has thrown to wrong routes for INT's both returned for TD's. At least with 4 years of experience Jay would know the route to throw.
