thats pretty much how most of them end....Now the wait for goodell's decision begins...
I dont expect Goodell to do anything. From the way it seems, he is nailing those repeat offenders that are too stupid to realise they keep making the same mistake over and over again. I have been wrong before tho.....actually...many times before but that is a different story all together...:err:
Porter still could be either fined or suspended by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, who has instituted a stricter code of conduct policy for players.
Hope you didn't skip over this....
Sure, it's a misdemeanor, but when you've got a Commissioner walking around with a magnifying glass... you don't want to be an ant on top of the NFL mound.
There should be no premature exhauling yet. This isn't over.

Joey Porter's attorny today entered a plea of no contest in regards to the misdemeanor battery charge stemming from the fight in a Las Vegas with Levi Jones. Porter faces a maximum penalty of 6 months in jail and/or a $1,000 fine. It's highly unlikely Porter faces any jail time in this instance since this is his first conviction and it's only a misdemeanor. However, Porter could face action from the NFL. But it's unlikely he'd be suspended. More likely is a fine from the league since it's his first conduct-related issue.
