Merged: Pouncey could miss First Half of Season

Nothing has changed in Poncey's condition. He was given a 3 to 4 month recovery time from the beginning. This isn't really news imo, but I guess Armando had to write about something.

When the laburnum was mentioned as his injury this longer prognosis does not surprise me much.

This is also big since the center is typically the guy that makes a lot of line calls for blitzes and such. Center will need to build rapport with Tannehill quickly.

O line will probably be worse than last year's to start the season.

I think we will be worse at run blocking, but better at pass blocking. A lot of the blocking breakdowns last year had more to do with scheme/coaching than it did with physical talent. I think overall we will be better this year based on new coaches alone.

I'm starting to warm up to Shelly at center if he can handle it. I'm thinking of short yardage in Tannehill running behind him if Lazor recalls a play known as a QB sneak, which Sherman forgot about. Just guessin he will notice it on Pats game film.

I know it's all mostly speculation but, what does anyone know now that they did not before? I would have to guess that there had to be something new for anyone to write about it.

What is there to write about. Unless a player gets hurt or in trouble. I guess he could write about the sky is blue, grass is green, and water is wet.

I don't think we're as bad off as people think. I think we're going Albert, Thomas, Larsen/Brenner, Turner, James. Personally, I hope Larsen turns out to be an overlooked gem.

Now is the time to find Pouncey's replacement on this team. Pouncey might have played his last meaningful snap as a Dolphin. I don't care what he brings, I want last year's OL in the rear view mirror.

I think all this really means is Larsen/Brenner will have a true shot to win a starting gig. Larsen may have stumbled into at least a roster spot. And Moreno's value and chances to make the roster just increased.

Colledge is veteran depth/insurance, only. Brenner/Larsen could be one of the most important battles in camp. And I think both make the team now.

I think it has to do with the fact that Armando is not allowed to work for the Herald in June and most of July. It has been like that the past few years. Really, what we are seeing is Armando chiming in on news he missed while he was away.

I don't think the line will be worse than last year ... just not as improved as it could have been.

Really hope you're right.

more garbage from armando. an injury with a 3 to 4 month prognosis for return, remains a 3 to 4 month prognosis for return.

telling.
