A Miami Dolphins fan, not a players fan.
True. Jeff Ireland is known as being very truthful.
I'm picking up sarcasm. What has Ireland lied about? If you weren't being sarcastic, sorry in advanced.

I thought that question was in very poor taste, very poor and his answer got me choked up...I feel for him and his loss.

lighten up francis.UGH I DONT CARE ABOUT HIS FAMILY! STOP ASKING HIM ABOUT IT!!!! ASK HIM ABOUT HIS DAMN TEAM!!
These reporters should all be ashamed.
I took it the other way. It was a question I think a lot of us wanted answered, just because I think we are all concerned for him and his family.

I don't know, when Tony Dungy's son died I didn't think it was appropriate for sports reporters to hound him about that, either. I really don't think it's relevant to the football team.
I think it's more likely at this point that he welcomes the distraction. The reason it is relevant IMO, is because this is a new job for him. I have no doubt he will give 100% to the job, but it's not a leap in logic to think after what he's gone through, his heart may not be into coaching any more. Jimmy Johnson had the same thing happen to him when his Momma died. They dragged him back in after that year, and his heart wasn't in it any more.
