with this nbc flex game schedule do you guys think there's a chance our game will be the sunday night game when we play the pats in two weeks, this of course assuming we take care of business the next two weeks.

I hope we can get a Primetime game. If we keep winning why not, lets show the nation we were not what we were last year.

I heard the same thing today. That would be sweet. Just to hear their names mentioned for being in the playoff hunt feels so good and has been a long time coming. Sparano seems to keep the boys in check and I'm seeing a lot of maturity as far as not getting too high on a win or too down on a loss. I'm optimistically thinking we have a shot at winning against all our remaining opponents. Not saying we'll beat em all, just saying!

For those who want a Primetime game...

All statements made are with the belief that the Fins win the next 2 games vs Seattle and Aklan(The team formally known as Oakland, they just have no O or D to speak of)
Our first opportunity for a primetime game would obviously be in Week 12. However, I think we would be the third or fourth most intriguing game to be flexed (unbiased opinion). I want a primetime game just as much as the next Dolphin fan, but I think its unlikely to happen in Week 12. New England just isn't that exciting to watch without Brady at the helm.

More intriguing games that week would be (Public Perspective)...
Carolina @ Atlanta (Very Intriguing)
Philadelphia @ Baltimore (Flacco, that D, Mcnabb and Westbrook get a lotta love here)
Jets @ Titans (If Titans are undefeated, this is definitely the game... plus all that annoying Favre love, Im calling for liiiike 6 picks from Favre that game)
Giants @ Arizona (High powered offenses, would be a fun-to-watch primetime game)
Current Game- Indy @ SD (I just dont see this one sticking, it has lost a lot of fire power and most likely SD would likely be at 6 losses at this point)

The game I see that could possibly have some intrigue to be flexed to Sunday Night and this is a huge IF.. We need to continue to win and the Bills would need to find their winning ways again, would be in Week 14- Fins @ Bills in the old SkyDome in Toronto.
The only other games that might be interesting to watch would be...
Washington @ Baltimore
Atlanta @ New Orleans (Shows promise but the Saints have a couple of primetime games already)
Philadelphia @ Giants (Sounds interesting, oh wait, theyre playing this Sunday night)
Cleveland @ Tennessee (Cleveland will likely be done by this point)
Dallas @ Pittsburgh (2 classic teams but I cant see them going with Pitt again)

i made most of these points in a thread i started last friday, but theyre good points.

i think the best chance is the buff game, although im not sure how the international element would affect logistics (seems though that it would be the kind of game the NFL would like to "promote"). jets/dolphins wk 17 could also happen if the game has playoff implications, not to mention the history of miami/jets primetime games

still not convinced that NBC would drop the SD/INDY game for ours vs. the Pats, but stranger things have happened i guess. even then, the jet/titan game may have more allure, then again CBS could protect it. too many variables but fun to think about.

all this talk is so sweet after the pain that was 2007.

Good Stuff!!

well dont forget that the networks can protect 5 games each, so i highly doubt jets@titans, dallas@pittsburg, etc will slip by. thats what helps out our chances the most.
