MERGED: Protest tomorrow in Davie.....

Ross gets even? LOL, Ross isn't some cold-blooded businessman. He is an old huckster with family connections. The dude is clueless when it comes to this business and its time he gets out of it... The NFL wouldn't let the Dolphins move to another city anyway, so I don't have any worries on that front.

Ross has done nothing but embarrass the team since he bought it. These displays are a result of HIS actions, plain and simple.

I will surprised if there are 100 people there. This idea was planted by the local radio media (mostly New York Jets/Giants leaning show hosts) to create another negative story. Go ahead and take the bait and fly here with your sign.

Yup. I know he promised Huizenga and the ppl of Miami he wouldn't sell this franchise to outside interest. But seeing as how this fan base is acting, I wouldn't blame him to do what he said he wouldn't do, to get some pay back.

Sorry, if ppl continue to act like this, odds are the Dolphins will not be the Miami Dolphins for too long. Men like Ross, get what they want, and when they don't, they get even. So Miami fans can continue to act like immature kids, their spanking will come if they continue to act out. And I support him if he does that.

As a whole, we currently deserve nothing less.

So if dolphin fans stay a disgruntled bunch, there is a better than 50/50 shot he will move the team just to spite the fans? LOL

Those of you saying that it's specifically Miami and South Florida fans need really need to get a clue. This isn't MIAMI sports fan behavior, it's SPORTS FAN behavior in general. People here are not the only ones to vocally oppose of what their franchise is doing. If you make such irrational accusations against Miami fans I would hate to hear your opinion on other matters.

And for the record, I don't necessarily agree with the protest, I hate the whole occupy wall street movement, but there is nothing wrong with fans going out and telling the front office how fed up they are from all the horrible moves we've made over the past few years. All you people getting your panties in a twist because some people choose to voice their opinion in a way different from you need to get off the high horse. Lions fans did the same thing to fire Matt Millen and look where they are now.

Like Voltaire said..."I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

Obviously, I won't be at this protest seeing as how I am aross the country, but I support, even as ultimately meanigless it all is (there are much larger problems in this world). But I support it because it WILL make Ross look like a bigger clown, and hopefully the more and more ridicule he receives, the more likely he will be to cut his losses, sell the team and move on.

Like I said, save protesting for something of value. I'm trying to save some of you from making fools of yourself and innocent Dolphin fans who disagree with such an immature act. Anyone who thinks anything good will come of this, is just as clueless as those occupy ppl.
Now why do you want to go and bring politics in to a sports forum? You should keep your political opinion, as useless as it is, out of the Dolphins board. Having said that, I agree that "protesting" the Dolphins is foolish. Protest with your wallet, not with signs or marches.

In no way am I defending Ireland, all I am saying is a protest is just dumb.

If you really want to send Ross a message, 50,000 empty seats speaks volumes more than a hundred or so disgruntled fans holding up signs.

Hit Ross where he will take notice, his wallet.

If you're not willing to stop watching the Dolphins and contributing money to the product, save up your $1 billion+ and buy the team.

There are many more issues in this world that require attention, Miami Dolphins not being successful is no where near the top of that list.

A protest will only hurt the image of South Florida fans.

Yeah, let's stop supporting our team and watch them move. FANTASTIC IDEA!

Dolphins aren't moving out of Miami. If you think the Phins are in danger of moving, all I can say is that you need to stop hanging around with Ricky Williams.

1 post a month for the past 6 years hardly qualifies as a fan
and don't give me quality over quantity because I see neither

HAHA so im not a fan of the Dolhins because I don't post on a message board a lot? Really? That's the best you have? I hope that if you do indeed have a job it is nothing more than picking up roadkill.

Something like this in today's environment of 24/7 news could go far beyond just a sports story. I can see the news stations covering this to express pro and anti arguments in regards to the occupy Wall Street nonsense that went on.

If enough ppl show up, we will become a national joke. We were far from that.

in the nfl media world...we are a joke...a laughing stock...incompetent as hell

i don't care what the protest accomplishes anyways...if it makes people feel better to go stand out there and and blow some steam cause these clowns are incompetent so be it

and i don't want to hear any of that "innocent fans" talk either...innocent my *** more like ignorant for tolerating this crap in the first place...

So there is gonna be a protest because Manning chose the Broncos over the Titans and 49ers :err:

I take it you are not the analytical type. You know it is a deeper issue than what you simply stated.
