MERGED: Protest tomorrow in Davie.....

Protest? :bobdole: Oh Boy, this is not good at all!!! This will not end well.

in the nfl media world...we are a joke...a laughing stock...incompetent as hell

i don't care what the protest accomplishes anyways...if it makes people feel better to go stand out there and and blow some steam cause these clowns are incompetent so be it

and i don't want to hear any of that "innocent fans" talk either...innocent my *** more like ignorant for tolerating this crap in the first place...

I don't agree with the 1st part I underlined. The NFL media always hates us, they always have. I'm kind of shocked just how short of a memery a lot of you have when it comes to that.

And as far as the 2nd part, you sound semi delusional there my friend. I'm not sure what you think us the fans can do except to stop going to the games. I think Ross is well aware where a lot of Dolphin fans stand. Talking about a protest is just a bunch of hippie whining IMO and would cause a lot more damage to the franchise than it will ever help.

Dolphins aren't moving out of Miami. If you think the Phins are in danger of moving, all I can say is that you need to stop hanging around with Ricky Williams.

Why would Ross hold on to this franchise if the fan base continues to act the fool? And why would he protect that fan base from moving if he can get a better deal if they do move? Obviously, this thought process would involve things getting far worse, on both ends.

The Wicky Rilliams thing, was kind of funny, kind of.

You think we look stupid now? Wait untill these idiots go out "protesting". They'll look like the idiots doing the 99% protest when asked really didn't even have a clue why they were there. This should be fun.

Majority of fans want Ireland fired. Majority of fans don't have a clue.

It sounds as if you know about as much about football as you do politics, which is jack ****. Ireland has been here since 2008 and was a major part in "rebuilding" Cam Cameron's disaster. Three out of four losing seasons later, it's obvious he has failed. Players don't respect him, and why the hell should they? The clueless like to sit around and blame the media and the real fans for Miami's failures. You know what? The media didn't coach us to an 0-7 record last year...disgruntled fans didn't sign Marc Colombo and refuse to cut him...ESPN hasn't ignored Miami's QB position since 2008...pissed off fans haven't eschewed drafting playmakers. But you're probably right. Ireland has stood pat in free agency. No need to improve on that solid 6-10 record.

For all the people who disagree with this better take a reality check...Miamis FO has been shunned by Harbaugh,Fisher,Manning,Flynn and theres probably more then we know. The front office is being used liked a 2 dollar whore.Theres obviously a problem is South Florida and Ross and Irelands names are written all over it.

If my ass where in that area i would be their.Thats not a question.Every1 who feels the same should do this.

Since when has wanting a quality product on the field acting a fool? The opinion on the direction of the team may differ, but the fact is we have had three straight seasons of sub .500 product and about a decade of irrelevance besides that fluke 11-5 season. If he moved the team, once the honeymoon phase is over that fanbase will turn on him and Ireland too. They're not going anywhere; if that dark, dark day should ever come Miami will get an expansion team without an issue.

But yeah. Let's just keep letting our organization be ran into the ground. Cool...

Kind of a HUGE leap, once again with some of you. People who see a protest movement over a owners choice in his GM as a stupid idea, aren't ppl who don't also want a quality prodcut.

The Dolphins issue with our GM is far from an appropriate course of action for a protest. It's immature, because IMO calling for a protest is a serious thing, not something to be used on an entertainment product.

As far as the rest of your post, obviously if he was to ever move the team, there would be a new fan base in place...

Wow. Football is being taken way too seriously here. (Damn, that was even hard for me to type.) Step away from the television, internet, or newspapers and just relax people. It sucks. But it is was it is.
