MERGED: Protest tomorrow in Davie.....

It sounds as if you know about as much about football as you do politics, which is jack ****. Ireland has been here since 2008 and was a major part in "rebuilding" Cam Cameron's disaster. Three out of four losing seasons later, it's obvious he has failed. Players don't respect him, and why the hell should they? The clueless like to sit around and blame the media and the real fans for Miami's failures. You know what? The media didn't coach us to an 0-7 record last year...disgruntled fans didn't sign Marc Colombo and refuse to cut him...ESPN hasn't ignored Miami's QB position since 2008...pissed off fans haven't eschewed drafting playmakers. But you're probably right. Ireland has stood pat in free agency. No need to improve on that solid 6-10 record.

lol I agree with him, and it is relevant. If the Dolphins fan base protest like some want, and enough ppl turn out. There will be news channels comparing it to the occupy nonsense that went on last year.

My only issue is, the 99% people will look like freaking geniuses compared to those so called Phin fans that show up for the protest.

But yeah. Let's just keep letting our organization be ran into the ground. Cool...

But ya the protest will actually remove Ireland, and if it does, what makes any of you think there won't be serious damage cause to the franchise based on the Dolphin fans action?

Another chance for the fan base to make a national fool of themselves. Those who do this are pathetic.

I concur... This is pathetic to do a protest like that.... We still have the draft and will sign more free agents and at this time we are ALL UNDEFEATED.... 0 - 0

We hate the negative attention, so we feed it. Not a good idea. I don't think it will accomplish anything, but let them do what they will.

I can't seem to shake the feeling that these people will be our protesters.

Was waiting for your usual attack at the local fan base. Like a couple posters said, sometimes the local south florida sports talk shows think they are talking to phins fans, when really most of their listeners are a combo of northern sports team fans. And like Sebas said, I'm local and i'm not giving the organization my money and I will complain about blackouts too, because if your putting that crap out on the field and not lowering prices, you owe it to the local fans for sucking so bad you better buy out those remaining tickets until your good enough to actually get people to come. Oh and it doesn't help when every jets/pats/bills/eagles/steelers/raiders/other team fan south of jacksonville freaks out like its christmas when single game tickets go on sale for their 1 time a year they can see their team.

A protest won't fix the problems. A protest is dumb. But the local fan base is sick of a storied franchise fall at the hands of dumb decisions for over a decade.

I say most of you are drinking the coolaide the media is putting out. What was the problem last year Columbo at right tackle. Who ran the offensive line and wanted input into the draft and FA when we resigned him Ireland. I judge a man by his latest body of work and with Parcells gone we have been making better decisons in personel. That is on Ireland. Everyone wants to blame Ireland but our stadium is run like a circus. Ross's idea for lure more ticket holders in is entertainment more than just winning. Afternoon games. Sure we lost at our stadium but for us who have been around here forever Shula never lost those games. Shula also drafted poorly compared to what we have now but Shula could coach them up and of course Marinio helped a bit too. Ireland has to land that QB no doubt about it to make this work.

If you go to the protest you have my respect for a life time! Make it happen guys!

make your voice heard dolphin fan, i live a little far from davie so i cant make it but i support yal who go.

I think I saw somewhere that the other 31 teams in the league are looking for new fans, some of you guys may want to consider changing what team you are rooting for. I am a little confused by some of the things I read about down there but WOW! talk about making the off season not fun, do you think the staff should consult the fans before they make a decision on a player? really find another team to cheer for please.

We will never pick another team, dolphins are in our hearts forever, that is not an option. If u are upset with how thigns are going down here and cant handle maybe its you who needs to pick a new team instead of 10 of thousand of fans who are upset. Seems alot easier for you to get out than us.

Wow, who knew this would be such a controversial issue within FH! I can see both sides of this issue very well. While I know that this won't do anything other than garner some press (probably negative), I also completely understand the complete distain some fans have with year after year of talk but no action. There's not a whole lot of us around that remember the last time the Dolphins were in a SB, let alone won one. So they don't want to just sit back and take it again for another year. Good luck to those going to the protest and tolerance for those who don't agree with it.

CanT wait until tomorrow when we hear that only 3 people showed up. I'll be laughing my ass off
