MERGED: Protest tomorrow in Davie.....

Would this be any different then what Ross and Ireland have done?
A protest isn't going to do a damn thing. All it will do is make a bad situation even worse. You would think people would have learned after the "We want Orton" chants or the "Fire Ireland" airplane banner. Did that accomplish anything? All a protest is going to do is get on ESPN and give the national media one more avenue to laugh at the Dolphins and the fans.

Is Ross going to look out the window and say "Well, they are protesting, I am just going to walk down the hall and fire Jeff right now."? Do you really think that is going to happen? If you do, than perhaps that explains why would consider going to this. I am pissed off right now about what is happening and ashamed, but why do something that is going to make things even worse? Ireland is here to stay and a protest in March isn't going to change that.

Wow, who knew this would be such a controversial issue within FH! I can see both sides of this issue very well. While I know that this won't do anything other than garner some press (probably negative), I also completely understand the complete distain some fans have with year after year of talk but no action. There's not a whole lot of us around that remember the last time the Dolphins were in a SB, let alone won one. So they don't want to just sit back and take it again for another year. Good luck to those going to the protest and tolerance for those who don't agree with it.

i have never seen the beloved dolphins franchise this low before. I mean wow, things were suppose to be gettin better but man it seems like the boat is still sinking with this terrible offseason. Oh how i miss the days of marino and jimmy johnson, we never won a superbowl with jimmy but man was it exciting actually going to a dolphins game, the stadium was packed and alive, oh the good old days of miami football. Sun life is going to be dead with crickets now adays when the season starts.

I hope this little protest dont make ESPN or we will really look like Idiots. An owner whos not afraid to spend money and a gm who is bringing in talent. What more do you dumba**** want?

we want playoffs , we want to be back to the once proud franchise we use to be , every year we sit and let 8-12 QBs get by us in FAs then let teams move up in the draft and grab all the top QBs that are left while we sit and do nothing we then pickup everybodys 2nd hand scrubs and the best players are signed , thats when we step in and try and grab garbage thats left , we always wait till all the good FAs are gone or till all the other teams move up and grab what few QBs that are left in the draft , then we make a move ? that crazy and thats why we should protest and when we do get a interview with some decent player we ask crazy questions like is your mom a prostitue >? this is just some of the things ,and there is a whole lot more .

Because the worse it gets, the more likely Ross will sell the team...

I think I saw somewhere that the other 31 teams in the league are looking for new fans, some of you guys may want to consider changing what team you are rooting for. I am a little confused by some of the things I read about down there but WOW! talk about making the off season not fun, do you think the staff should consult the fans before they make a decision on a player? really find another team to cheer for please.

Well for one its not the FO that makes a decision of who they want...Its the players and coaches that makes the decisions to say no ****ing way to this orginazation.

I can remember back 6 years ago when i(since my pc got hacked and was under a different name but not much dif)said that this team needs to be Blown up and rebuilt.I got tarred and feathered for it."You are overeacting""you have no idea what you re talking about" where some of the qutoes and there were allot more.

This team needs a NEW OWNER and GM and thats a FACT!!

While i agree to some extent with what you say, when the Fans of a Pro Sports team gets National attention for something like this atleast it gets ATTENTION.

To each their own but for a person, not implying anyone specific person, sits on the computer and bitches/complains about this nonsense and doesnt get heard-OWell.For me it would be about self satisfaction to be heard rather than this.

I am in if Tebow comes to Miami. I will continue to be a fan of the team but wont be able to watch them play until they show me that they can find someone that knows what a QB looks like.

I thought you said you wouldn't watch Miami play until they show you what a QB looks like and then you say you are in if they get Tebow? Tim Tebow isn't even good enough to be a backup QB in the NFL.

Wow...we were practically 0-16 4-12 b4 he came here.now we at the very least have a decent record..how about you a holes give it some time and stop letting the media warp your head...this is a good team!my god! We changed coaches, have the entire draft and dammit the season or training camp hasn't started! Stop bein so naive and stupid! You all are so embarrassing...you don't build the entire team through free agency.a piece or 2,but that's about it.or let's be the dream team and suck it up! Oh well,we are playing madden...

yeah and now the draft ? we have our franchise qb sittin there waiting on us at #8 oh wait , redskins done got the only other top QB that was left in the draft , yeah we need the draft.

The NFL and the league owners would never agree to move the Dolphins. Don't worry, they are safe.
What makes them safe? The stadium has been deemed by the NFL unacceptable when it comes to hosting a Super Bowl. If Ross wants his stadium to host the big game in the future he is going to have to spend a lot of money on renovations. If the team isn't winning and the fans don't show up, what incentive does he have to stay? Especially when there is a shiny piece of land in Los Angeles whispering into his ear to build a stadium. Ross likes stars and what better place to get stars than in Los Angeles? Plus, with a "new" team in town the stadium will be full regardless of the initial product on the field.

Don't think it can't happen. Who would have thought the Browns would leave Cleveland?

The Browns have never Sniffed a SB thats why. They are diehard fans and thats why they got another team in Cleveland.

With Ross' money it shouldnt be a problem to give it a Facelift.

you people have no idea what a joke you will be. colin cowherd has already said what idiots the fans are for losing their minds when we already have matt moore whom teams would be all over to have if he were a FA.

The problem is that this stupid front office is in full panic mode and is offering Alex freaking Smith $8 million a year even though he is not much of an upgrade over Matt Moore. What is even worse, now there is rumblings that The Dolphins could be interested in Tim Tebow. If that happens I will get on a airplane and fly too Miami to join the protest myself.
