Merged:QB wrong pick,JJ says/JJ taken out of context

There is something about the article that doesnt ring true.Maybe Johnson was quoted out of context.Why would he be criticizing Wannstedt when he was responsible for him being hired ?
 
When I watch this guy Sunday Mornings on Fox, I try to comprehend how he won multiple superbowls let alone one. I cant even understand how this guy was a head coach. His "analysis" is pure dribble and he looks schooled by Howie Long. This is a guy that could not find a running back for Marino after he made a promise to the fans that he had a three year plan to bring them to glory. His answers, cecil collins, john avery, karim abdul jabar and lawrence phillips. Those were all excellent choices but I guess they just didnt fit into the system (pure sarcasm). Only after he left did we get our 1000 yard rusher in Lamar Smith. JJ is worthless and overated. Barry Switzer also won a bowl with the cowboys and now he is back in college.

One last thing, how can he say we gave up too much for Ricky when he wasted just as many picks trying to find a 1000 yard rusher let alone an 1800 yard rusher.

Apparently you are right.There is an article in todays Herald which indicates the "interview with JJ" was taken out of context.

Sounds to me like the reporter and JJ had too many "green lizards" and dont remember what they said.
