All I am reading on this site is Vick should be in jail, Vick shouldn't be on the team, go to Canada. Frankly it pisses me off. First of all, for a guy with his talent to go undrafted was a huge steal for us, we didn't waste a pick on him, and we are going to get him at a very reduced price if he signs. Second of all, you haven't even given him a freaking chance. Has he done anything to harm the Miami Dolphins organization???? NO HE HASN't! Maybe he made a mistake and he realizes he is an idiot, and he could be very valuable to the franchise. If he isn't then we can cut him. We have nothing invested in this guy, and the pressure is on him to show if he can be mature enough to play in the NFL. You guys are hanging a guy who hasn't done anything to harm the organization when you defend Ricky Williams who screwed us in 2004, and just failed a FOURTH drug test to get suspended for a year. Holistic Medicine is more important to this guy for christ's sake. We are all skeptical of Marcus Vick, but there is virtually no risk involved with signing him, and the reward could be tremendous. Whether he turn out to be a backup QB, or a third or fourth WR, he is a guy who Nick Saban was genius enough to pick up. Just like last year when you guys were doubting some of Nick's moves, you all got put in your place and the same will be done this year. Don't doubt Nick, he is one smart guy. Just shut up about Vick and wait until he hurts the organization. If you wanna talk after that go right ahead. Until then just shut up.

So anyone who talked negatively about us trying to acquire any player with significant rep problems should just shut up until they hurt the organization?

Well by your logic, all murderers and rapists would be allowed on the street until they hurt YOUR family. Thats not how society works. If someone has a character problem, people are going to talk about it wether he has hurt their organization or not.

The bottom line is Vick CANT hurt or ourganization yet because HE ISNT PART OF IT yet. Thats the whole point of a lot of discussions.

By the way, thanks for making a new thread to go along with the 6 other ones exactly like this one on the main page.

agree 100% thank you, finally someone smart instead of saying "he should start left out, or back up water boy"

hes an amazing athlete and hopefully he will get his act together enough to play ball
 
Talent? What talent? He can run a little, whooopppeeeee. He's like 5'8" and can't throw. He'd be a faster Wes Welker. So, what, kick returner maybe?

Speaking of crying, this thread is crying about crying so how much sense does that make? Like Vick or don't, it's up to you, but don't go all out and think this convict is some special 'find' that we are so fortunate to have found. He went undrafted and is still unsigned for a very good reason.

hes been busted so many times with weed and other dumb stuff hes done, didnt he try to shoot someone or rob a bank? didnt he like slam his foot down on some dudes leg a claimed "it was an accident" which was BS and very childish...didnt he flick some fans in the stands off?? how childish and imature he is!!!

we have our roster set at QB

why whould chance a bum like that when he would just get suspended in like a week for smoking weed, trying to rob a bank or trying to shoot someone.

He's actually 6'0. But I don't think he's as talented as everyone makes him out to be. He choked in big games and his numbers aren't impressive at all.

I'm not sure about that. I just read that he's listed at 6' but that there was no way he was. So, I'll believe he's 5'10" or 5'11" or something. Either way, Doug Flutie at least had an arm, accuracy and QB skill.

that is 2 different things vick will do good with the dolphins if they sign him until he does something to hurt the dolphins i have all the respect for him
 
boo whoo most of you got a hard on because his name is vick when he ends up being useless you'll see or having some off-field problems he cant play qb he is under 6 feet tall he is as big as doug flutie but can run faster and has a &*(^% attitude i think due to his character problems and the fact that i didnt think he was ever that good anyways in the first place and the off field problems is why i wouldnt have even brought him into camp funny how some people were saying he will save the franchise please get real
