3rd or 4th round pick will do the trick. Wouldnt mind Bush in the later rounds
 
Scott Linehan had a front row seat in 2005 to one of the best backs in the league. Why wouldn't he be interested? I too hope we keep him.

I would make the deal, but I wouldn't take less than a third.

Even though he's a quality player at a nice price, he's still completely unreliable, unpredictable and increasing in age.

Remember: if we were to acquire a day 1 pick for Ricky, that pick could be packaged in a potential move for Brady Quinn.

Just because teams are interested, doesn't mean it he is gone. Don't look at this as bad news, look at it as good news. We are likely to keep him, but if Mueller really wants to trade him for picks, it is nice to know we have a market starting to develop.
 
More Draft picks would not be a bad thing... it seems to me that this deal might not happen till the start of the season seen that Ricky still needs to wait around 2 months to be re-instated, so if a deal/trade is made it will be for draft picks next year...
 
I love Ricky. I wouldn't accept anything less than a second for him. We could have the best running attack in the league with him and Ronnie splitting carries, without him it's a different story (that's not a knock on Ronnie, that's just the way it is).
 
There would be no trade till after the draft because RW will not learn if he can come back for another 60 days or so. So any draft pick would come in 2008.
 
that would be dope to get like a 3rd round pick for him... but no team would give up that much for him... he'll be a fin next season dont worry people
 
Does it take that long to know if you are reinstated? Because he is eligible soon right? Is it just a 60 day process?
 
agreed first day pick, no less. Ricky's salary is just so low. It still makes it hard. If Welker is worth a 2nd though? ... Too bad Ricky has killed his own value.
