Q: What is the primary need for the Dolphins?

A: “We have a lot of needs to get better as a team. We’d like to increase our team speed. We’d like to come up with some play-makers out of our group. But we also know we have a few guys on our team. Chris Chambers has been a play-maker in the past. Ronnie Brown has shown signs of being a play-maker. We saw David Martin on film being a play-maker. There are some things there we have to work with. But as far as needs, we’re looking for the best players who fit with our scheme.”

Q: What would you say to a Dolphins fan who is worried about the offense?

A: “Well, for one thing, we hired a coach who we believe in that has an offensive system and a plan in place that I think is going to improve us in that area. Obviously, that’s Cam strength. I’m going to kind of let him take the lead in that regard. Sure, we’re always going to look to get better players to improve ability wise. But hang in there, we’ll be OK. I think we all believe in what we’ve seen Cam and his coaches do in the past. We’re going to add what we can personnel wise, but I think the scheme is a proven, solid scheme.”

There is more.Check it out.:D

Thanx for the read. I can't wait to see what we do in the draft. I just want it over already so we can move on....lol.

You got that right!! Seems as if we may go offense with #9 after all, if of course we dont trade up or down.

Subtle reminder of who's in charge now - GM in da house.

That makes two of us bro. I hate the offseason. All the talk about who is going where, stock up, stock down, all the rumors- it just gets old after a while. There's only so many times I can read or discuss the same thing over and over. At least the schedule is coming out Thursday and I can make my travel plans for the season, lol.

If we got Ginn Jr. he would make an immediate impact. Even if he was a #2 or #3 receiver on the depth chart he would also be an excellent return man as well. He's a weapon on the field....

But does he carry them off the field. :D Nowadays you have to be careful of who you draft, Pacman.......

I would love Ginn on the squad, but do you think he is worthy of a #9, or should we trade down a bit to get more picksm, if we dont try to move up of course. I personally wouldn't spend a 9th on Ginn, but thats me.

If we go for Ginn I think we'll trade down a couple spots and pickup a late round choice

WR's do not stay on your team forever, the only reason CC is still on our team is cus we put up with lame production and overpaying.

Ginn would be on another team in 4 or 5 years or out of football cus he got hurt one too many times. The idea with your first pick is to get a guy who you know will be there for 10+ years. That is the real idea of picking high. Value Value Value. I do not see Ginn as value when there are other speed guys out there who will just end up showing us more in the end. It happens every year. Ginn is a risk. WR's in general are more risky long term cus they never stick around and they hold out and pull all that crap all the time.
