The most attractive free agent in the league this spring might be a guy who has never thrown a pass, made a tackle, or run for a touchdown. But in Baltimore Ravens director of player personnel Phil Savage, a team could get a guy capable of doing well the biggest thing franchises now require: Someone who can accurately identify talent. ESPN.com has confirmed that Savage's contract expires this spring. Some club with an opening for a general manager might do well to request permission now to speak to Savage, who has aided general manager Ozzie Newsome in annually producing some of the league's best draft classes. Take a look at the Ravens' mostly home-grown roster and you can't help but be impressed with Savage's track record.

Please bring him in!
