MERGED: Ricky Rolling Up to Dolphin Complex

Ricky Comes In Sporting...

Ricky is back and he is sporting short dread locks just like his Texas days. Maybe he will run like he did in Texas. Or maybe he will quit again, we will have to wait and see.

some pictures please!!!

dreads are a good thing, he cut his old ones off because he thought they could find traces of the ganja in it.

Ricky has access to the best trainers, best food, and the best training routine.
When you break it down, 25 pounds in 3 months is a little less than 2 pounds a week, it's not entirely unrealistic.

EXACTLY!!!

Personally, I've been able to gain 10 pounds in one month easy...then my body starts to slow down considerably but everyone's different....

In a 3 month span I have gained 20 pounds (10-5-5). So for a pro-football player with the best of everything being given to him not just protein powder and workouts, (eating 8 times a day does help too) 25 pounds in three months and maybe a little more isnt unreal.

I still don't understand how easilly some of you guys forgive him. It's not like he's sorry about his actions. It's crazy what people can get away with just because of athletic abilities. I've heard all of the "everyone deserves a 2nd chance" talk and it's a real good excuse but that's all it is. If it was some less unknown player that did something of this magnitude all we'd hear is cut him, get him out of here, ect. I didn't read anyone wanting Quentin Williams to get a 2nd shot. It's not like he turned his back on the franchise, he's just nowhere near Ricky's level of play. Thats how the world works and i'll deal with it, i'll just never agree with it.

Last year many were mad at him because he hurt our team. This year many are welcoming him back and ready to forgive because he can help our team. It's really as simple as that. I don't get the morality quandary that so many people have with this. The opportunity is here to redeem this franchise and he helps.

he did walk in front of a media contigent. one of those bums must have taken a picture. probably will be in paper tomorrow.

At this point I could care less one way or the other. Let the man suit up and see what he can do. Running is an ability you either have or you don't. It's not something that you learn, it's more instinct. There is NO reason that Ricky should not be able to pick up exactly where he left off. Hell, I am all for taking it one game at a time at this point. Stop worring so much about what he did and think about what he can do. Either way, he is NO VALUE to us AT ALL if he is not playing.

Does anyone remember what happened last year when he left us to go smoke pot?

now all the ricky haters post their opinion...i have to remember these guys so week 6 or 7 when ricky busts one out we can hear there opinion then

Well, I sure don't see counting on R. Williams as a healthy thing to do :)

He definitely has some problems. Thinking he can overcome them, and help the Dolphins out this year is reaching a little IMO. And I would think that there are a lot of teammates who won't forget what he did though they won't say it publicly. After listening to everything Williams has had to say since he quit on the team and fans last year, I see him coming back only to try and keep his money he was going to lose for walking out on the team.

RBs have short life spans (in most cases) and losing a year in your prime and not staying in playing shape will take it's toll. To tell the truth, I will be amazed if he is able to pass all the upcoming drug tests, get his head back in the game and get anywhere close to what he was.

If I were a Dolphins fan I would be concentrating on what Brown, Roth and Wright are going to bring to the table.

now we need some pics to see how he looks

[Sun Sentinel]
"I saw him on the elevator today," said a Dolphins player. "I've never seen him before, but he seemed like 230 (pounds). He's ripped up. You could see the muscles sticking out of his shirt."

[Palm Beach Post]
Asked how Williams looked, Bowens said Williams' disposition struck him more than anything.
"He looks like he's eager and ready," Bowens said. "It looked like his ears were perked up and he really looked like he's into it."
