MERGED: Ricky Rolling Up to Dolphin Complex

I welcome Ricky. One thing he never did was mail it in on the field, he gave the team everything when he was out there. Also, he may provide the phins leverage in their talks with Brown. Obviously, we all want Brown in camp, and look forward to his career, but Brown's people may be a little more hesitant about holding out or asking for a monster contract with Ricky in camp.

did you watch his last season? he even admitted it.

I have forgiven Ricky. I was upset that he left but it was his decision and he is entitled to it. Our situation is totally different this year. We have depth at RB. Also as it stands, correct me if I am wrong, Ricky will be playing for 540,000 and insentives. What do we have to lose? As someone else has already posted he is of no value not playing at all. I also want to add if the team excepts him back that should be enough for the haters out there, ts not like they are sweating and bleeding with the team.

Actually he doesn't look like that. They just showed him driving in on ESPNews. 2:52 p.m est time. His dreds are alot shorter than that.

His speech in the locker room will go something like this:

"I'm back! Sorry about the whole leaving you hanging and ruining your season then laughing about it thing. Now I am back and I am fully committed to making some money. Where's my first paycheck?" :goof:

All you haters need to stop crying!!!   It's just a game, get over it! It's not like he killed someone. Geesh.

I was so pissed when Ricky quit last year, but in the back of my mind, I thought he would return. Now that he has, I'm stoked. He is the best Dolphin RB I've ever seen (too young for Csonka), so naturally I'd love to see that shiznit again.

Uh - no. It's not just a game. For the players and coaches it is their job. When teams lose people lose their jobs and have to find new ones. He affected a lot of people's careers by doing what he did. This is not pick-up football in someone's back yard. It is a business. Try to remember that.

Ricky said a lot of things didn't he? What I remember about that last season was the brutal 40 some odd carry performance against Buffalo, and the way he rammed himself into the interior defense time and time again churning out the yards. He also rushed for close to 1,400 yards that year. Are you saying he is so talented, that even half assing it he can run for that much? If so, then you admit he is a great player, so why not have him on the team?

Williams, sporting a beard and short dreadlocks, chuckled at the large media contingent staked out across the street from the facility as he drove in behind the wheel of a blue Infiniti FX SUV.

Williams entered the building through a side door that was not visible to the media, which is barred from the facility. He did so without comment.

Williams reappeared two hours later to retrieve a document from his car. Williams was wearing a white Dolphins t-shirt with cut off sleeves that showed off bulging muscles in his arms. Williams looked to be nearly 220 pounds  about 10 shy of his normal playing weight  and in excellent condition.

I agree with you, is not just a game, but since the coaches wants him back....I dont understand where the problem is.
