Among the many ways the Dolphins plan to use Brown and Williams on the field at the same time is a spread formation with one of them split out in the slot or a wideout position. The other is then put in the backfield as a single setback.

That's the most obvious way, among many. In fact, Brown said last week that he was looking forward to the different ways he could be on the field with Williams, even if that meant occasionally being more of a classic fullback.

''You just have to figure that if you have us both on the field at the same time, the defense is going to have to choose what they want to do,'' said Brown, who was the Dolphins' leading receiver Sunday at Buffalo with six catches and has shown he has good hands. ``If you put one of us out there in the slot, you're going to spread the defense out.''

The Dolphins have been devising ways to use both players as much as possible. Those plans have been in the works since early in the offseason, when Williams indicated to Saban that he planned to return to the team.

I know Ronnie has a four week head start but it looks like he will be fullfilling a FBs role from now on.

Sounds like Nicky's taken a page out of Gruden's plan to use the "rocket backfield" as Gruden's calling it. We really haven't seen it this year though. Pittman will most likely line up in the backfield with Carnell and go in motion to the slot.

If they cut down the mistakes our offense can be downright lethal. They now have 2 RBs and a TE that have to be gameplanned for. Not to mention chambers who shouldn't be ignored either.

Just don't be too upset if the R&R express gets off to a rough start. I think the Bucs speed on Defense is a perfect match for that formation. We play a lot of nickle on runnig downs anyway becasue Ronde is such a hard hitter and sure tackler. He's like a LB in a DB's body and will likely cover Ronnie if he splits out. If we have 3 LB's in we'll most likely check out to the Tampa 2 (hey, it got us a ring) and with the speed of out LBs anything over the middle to Brown runs the risk of getting picked off.

Ronnie will block for Ricky, Ronnie will block on blitzes. Ronnie will catch passes. Ronnie will line up as an H back.. Ricky will be doing most of the heavy lifting by the end of next week.

Well, he tore up the vaunted #1 D of the Buffalo Bills. That's all Buc fans heard was that Carnell wouldn't have a good day against TKO and co. Hmmmm.

Well as much of a homer as I am, Chambers doesn't strike fear into me. I as an aopposing coach would stick my best cover man on him and 9/10 times he won't pull the ball down on a deep pass. Not that i don't believe he can, he just doesn't. The quick throw at the LOS is his best and most consistent play so far! I really hope he starts getting seperation or booker will take over as the #1 and that just makes me sick to my stomach!!!!
