Just read on NFLNEWS.COM that Ricky has already started the appeals process. It just seems to me that if he indeed has failed a drug test, some kind of statement would have been released by the NFL.

Ricky will Appeal.

Dolphins | Appeal for R. Williams to take 4-6 weeks

Jeff Darlington, of the Palm Beach Post, reports Miami Dolphins RB Ricky Williams has begun the appeal process to avoid a one-year suspension for a fourth violation of the NFL's substance-abuse policy, according to a source. The process is expected to take four to six weeks. While the source did not disclose details of the appeal, the person said Williams did not test positive for marijuana. Another anonymous source said the violation is due to a failed drug test, but the source did not identify the substance.

Ricky admitted to smoking Marijuana once why wouldn't he again, I think Ricky stays with the Dolphins and plays next year.

I agree, this is just too fishy to be true. I think Ricky will be fully exhonerated.

I agree. I really hope this is all some big mistake. I dont think (think ) anyone is that stupid. I also think the NFL would be more lenient with Ricky than just about anyone else in the NFL

You all mean you hope he will be.

I hope he sues the NFL for violating the rules of the Substance abuse program. Protected by the all knowing media no less and helping spread false or inconsistant info that is protected by "sources". More like sourcerors.

Well atleast we know he's not quitting on the game again. He wouldn't be appealing if this was the case.

It takes the NFL 4-6 weeks to analize a cup of pee?

The appeal process is an automatic. This is the guy who tried to get out of owing the Dolphins what he agreed to owe them if he up and quit.

He is what he is.

I think some of you are getting your hopes up.

Sorry, but I just don't see how Ricky gets out of this. (And no, I'm not a "hater," so stop with all that talk.)
