I've heard too much of this

I have the unfortunate distinction of living in j-ville,I have been hearing a lot of talk about Ricky and a 4th for David Garrard.Personally I am against this.I aint giving Ricky up for anything less than a 2nd.Keep in mind D.G. is big ,he has a strong arm,and can move a little .I dont know ,what do you guys think?

I don't want to trade Ricky.....we now have two solid running backs...this should continue to help our passiing game as teams won't be able to focus on just shutting down one back. I would not trade Ricky for less than a 2nd rounder or a solid starter at a need position.

Byron Leftwich and David Garrard won't last in the same team for long.

According to some sources, some of the members of that team were about to group up and tell their coach that they wanted David Garrard to start against the Patriots.

This is likely going to cause the team to split in half, kind of like the Eagles case with Terrell Owens and Donovan McNabb.

Unequivocally my first choice (even tho I'm not a "guy".)..........I still am of the opinion that in the long run he will prove to be a better QB than Leftwich...
Even now his pocket presence and awareness is defintely NFL caliber, he's calm and intelligent and no I'm not his mother, grandmother, sister or auntie.......With his experience last and this year, he's ready to take on the NFL without a
doubt.

re:

don't trade ricky. please don't trade ricky. Unless we get some absolutely exceptional deal, like Carson Palmer or something. :sidelol:

:foundout: i'd do it...i misread it though, thought they would be giving us the 4th. I'd trade them straight up though.

This is stupid. I already hate the offseason.

Garrard can be a really good starter

Id trade ricky for him strait up but the pick may be to much

I'm not against trading Ricky as long as its for the right deal but this certainly isnt it.

For Garrard and a 4th Ricky should be out the door

I am a huge David Garrard fan. He does not have speed like Vick but has a much better and more accurate arm and is a much better decision maker. That being said I don't think that trade idea is good at all.

Don't you think a QB would help our passing game as well?
