The Beacon Journal reports Ron Wolf's tenure with the Browns is over. Wolf let the Browns know late last week that he would no longer work with the team in light of the resignation of team president Carmen Policy, a source close to the situation said Monday. ``He's out of there,'' the source said. ``He signed up to work with Carmen, and now, Carmen isn't involved.'' Wolf, who was hired as a part-time ``personnel specialist,'' will not be involved with the Browns' draft, nor will he be in Berea for the minicamp. His time with the Browns lasted a little more than two months. The source stressed that there is no rift or disagreement between HC Butch Davis and Wolf. It is just a desire for Wolf to move on now that the person he agreed to work for and communicated with is no longer going to be with the team
I guess we didn't miss the GM we wanted after all. I'm very happy with what Spielman is doing with this team. I like his plan.
