I am, not saying we should or shouldn't, but I am not sure what happens if we choose not to sign him. I know he re-enters the draft next year, but what happens to our pick? DO we get another one and if so, at what slot will we recieve it? I am thinking that maybe having ricky this year and maybe next year and then having the #4 and maybe a mid 20 pick won't be so bad.

I believe we loose our pick because we could not sign the pick we took so it would be fair to the rest of the NFL say we just didnt like our guy after mini camps and wanted to try again next year at # 2... that would not be fair.

Where do some of you come up with this stuff? :shakeno:

yeah, that makes sense i guess. therer would be alot of 3-7 rounders not being signed and then re-entering if that was the case.

The only reason i was asking was because i keep hearing that if a guy isn't signed, he then re-enters the draft, but no explanation is given on what happens to the pick.

No way we get the pick over again. Just b/c we decide not to sign someone doesn't mean we get to do it over again. That would be like SD asking for another pick after picking Leaf, just b/c he sucked. It doesn't work that way.
Besides that, I am afraid our regular first round pick is NOT gonna be in the 20s. Our next year's first round pick unfortunately in gonna be 32nd BABY !!!!!!!

Gus SB MVP !!!!!!!!

It is unlikely that Ronnie would just end up back in the draft because Miami would have an incentive to sign him and trade him if it came down to it. A third round pick would be better than nothing.

What are the Chances.....

What are the chances that we don't even sign Ronnie Brown.

you have to admit it has crossed your mind also.

Well this is all bull**** if ya ask me. Didn't another top 10 pick just sign the other day? Sign the ****ing papers and let's get it going already.

Crossed my mind, no, actually, it hasn't crossed my mind in the least. When was LT signed out in San Diego, week 3 of the preaseaon or something like that? RELAX!!!
