Good first game. You can't expect too much from a rookie in his first preseason game.

He had one really nice run where he hurdled over a defender... but it was called back by one of the 287 holding penalties on Stockar McHolding...

He showed pretty good power and quickness and seemed to follow his blockers very well...

The fact that he had a fumble was kind of funny for me. i just finished my 2nd year on Madden 2006. i'm using the cardinals, but i checked out the stats on certain players and Ronnie brown had 1966 rushing yards. but he also had 36 fumbles. i saw that and was like :eek:

The play where he hurdled the defender was great. Allen tackled him and try to strip the ball and jock Ronnie a little bit. Ronnie just put a big old hand in his face and pushed him off of him. Allen, clearly embarrassed by the rook, stood up to try and defend himself while Ronnie onochalantly said a few words to him and walked away. It was good to see. The kid won't take crap from anyone.

Plus, with Ronnie learning from Ricky, he is going to be awesome. Ricky looked so frikkin' good. It makes me shake my head at what could have been with him and his career if he was into football.

ronnie also had a very nice block to gus' right enabling him to get off the pass. aside from the fumble, i mean cut ihm some slack its his first full speed full contact situation, i was not disappointed at all by him, he looked great. especially with ricky and ronnie in the backfield at the same time

Looked pretty good to me.
First game, rookie, a little over 1 week with the team in TC and he did alright apart from the fumble.
