i saw some good things out of him i was wondering what others thought

solid 1st game. especially behind our o-line. who may i add did well

I liked Brown tonight. He was raw, showed his attributes and I am excited about him this season. When Travis Minor hit up -2 yards on his first carry against a second team defense, it really showed how much credit Ronnie should get for how he played.

He had one really nice run where he hurdled over a defender... but it was called back by one of the 287 holding penalties on Stockar McHolding...

He showed pretty good power and quickness and seemed to follow his blockers very well...

LOL..how many holding penalties...So Stockar being dropped to 2nd string results in holding.. That's called "lee itis" isn't it?

Ronnie

Im going to go ahead and say it.Ronnie is everything we wanted. If he can do that well in a game when hes only been to tc for 2 weeks.Wow.He might of fumbled but thats also bc of the weather conditions. He has the potential to be a great back in the nfl.I can see it soo well.Do ypu think hes gonna be a great rb in future time for miami?

Good Game, showed some signs of what we're in for. The fumble is a slight concern, but it was a solid hit by the defender. I comfortable with the performance!

i agree, for a rookies first pre-season game, im very happy with it

If he looked as great as you guys say, then the future of our RB"S looks great.

He fumbled once, we need to trade him to Philly for a 4th rounder!

No, seriously. I think he played well but he looked a little lost out there sometimes. He didn't look as comfortable running the ball as Ricky or even Sammy Morris did. I like that he's not afraid to get hit.

I agree with you on this. Didn't do horrible, just seemed like he couldn't figure out which hole to hit.

Thats good.It means the O-line was opening holes for RB\RW.

Ronnie will be a very good player for us. I still think Cadillac will be great and nothing last night changed my mind.

Ronnie's fumble-related quote blew me away. Something like, "the guy made a good play. He put his helmet right on the ball. There wasn't really anything I could do about it."

I darn near swerved my car off the road when Ronnie said that in the postgame show. Perhaps I default too frequently to the long lost ultradedicated glory era of the early '70s, but immediately I was thinking what a young Don Shula would have said if a Csonka or Kiick or Morris or anyone else, especially a raw rookie, would have routinely dismissed a turnover as something they had no control over. Guaranteed, it would have made the brook trout line look like the most forgettable quote of all time.

I felt pretty good with his performance.

Looked pretty damn quick and good awareness. He just exploded through that hole on the 11 yard run. Very nice.

I did like his hurdle he did of the defender to get afew more yards.
