MERGED: Rosenhaus Saves Boy from Drowning

This is just an example of an American being one! Nothing more. This action on his part is why it's not a good thing to judge others, until you have walked in their shoes. Way to go Drew, the American Spirit still lives inside you.

and THAT...is exactly why this story was made up
bingo. i started cracking up halfway through the first sentence. remember in "batman returns" when the penguin saved the baby from the circus guy? yeah that's what this reminds me of. usually agents do this kinda thing for their clients, but rosenhaus needs to do it for himself obviously....

that being said, i'm not saying this is COMPLETELY made up, but i'm sure it's embellished quite a bit. spin control!

Wonder if this makes Brett Favre look like a jack@ss for badmouthing Drew so much over Javon Walker.

I know this will considerably undermine teams who are attempting to reach out directly to their player to convince them their agent is a scumbag.

I have always liked Drew. Bottom line is that he is a good guy. I am happy he was there in time to save that child, and to a much lesser extent, happy drew is finally getting some positive publicity. Obviously the publicity in no way compares tot he childs life, but I just think drew gets a bad rap simply because he is the best and knows it.

Right place right time.

Who wouldn't have tried to save the kid?

You're not a hero for doing what everyone else walking the planet would have done in the same situation, You're normal.

That's what we've learned here today, Drew is normal.

Big deal. The guy did what an descent human being would do but went a step further....he called ESPN and SI to toot his own horn. What an ***.

The guy is, IMO, the best agent out there but this incident didn't do anything to further endear me to him.

I have given CPR to an adult and folks I was scared. It was an electrocution and I arrived first and began. I asked for help but none of the four guys accepted. I was relieved after about two mins by an off duty paramedic and I was glad. This was an intense two mins trying to recover this dim memory of my classes. He recovered and lived on. The Paramedic later critqued me and said my only fault was not physical enough with the compressions. I was afraid of killing him so badly, I almost killed him. To have to do this to a child would be terrifying. Props to Drew.

I take back all i said about the guy. Well most of it. I still think he is a P***k, but that is a heads up play--well done Drew :)

hate to be the cynic, but can someone say "staged"?

Cynic is one thing. ludicrous is quite another...not worth it to bother with. What does he gain that is so important. Drew WANTS people to see him as a shark.
