Ruddy to have knee looked at /Margin Hooks & Chris Jackson waived

Don't know the extent of the injury but I heard on WQAM that Ruddy is off to the doctors to have his knee looked at. Margin Hooks and Chris Jackson were waived. Corey Jenkins also returned to practice. Surtain was running, Konrad went through some drills and Burnett, Dixon and Gadsden were all there.

I think the NFL needs to change some dates. What sense does it make to make teams cut their rosters before the last pre season game is played?
 
I still don't think OG makes this team and excluding any injuries in this next game (knock on wood), it looks like we'll be pretty healthy going into the first game. I've heard talk that Dixon may be ready although there is some concern about Burnett. I just hope that Griese is ready because I don't want to take up a roster spot with a fourth QB.
