Rumor i Heard about possible trade

hey guys i heard this from another site that the Phins are looking into a possible trade for David Carr, and we would send Ricky Williams to the Texans. what do you guys think of this?
 
I dont know **** about D.C. except he spends sundays getting the **** kicked out of him.I guess he is pretty athletic.......but for what we pay Rick I say no .
 
do you guys even listen to sportscenter? CARR is not going anywhere....and bush is going to the texans. so stop the insanity that is Carr to Miami....and Ricky being traded....please.
 
There is history about how that rumor originated.

As for Carr, I received an e-mail from Orlando reader Joe Cooney last week floating the idea of a trade that would send tailback Ricky Williams to the Houston Texans for quarterback David Carr. Sure enough, profootballtalk.com, which is a fabulous NFL gossip web site, wrote today that “rumors†are circulating about a Williams-for-Carr trade with the Dolphins also throwing in a third-round draft choice.

On paper, the trade could have legs. Williams would serve as a nice complement to oft-injured Texans tailback Domanick Davis. Carr seems like a solid candidate to replace Gus Frerotte in the starting lineup. But Dolphins officials would have to be convinced Carr’s struggles in Houston the past four seasons were more connected with a terrible offensive line and poor offensive systems than his own shortcomings.

Aparrently thats how many rumors originate and end up on PFT.Then other news sources pick up those rumors and run with it.

I imagine thats how the TO and Ricky trade rumores originated too.
FH posters have been known to originate rumors which end up in the media too.

I heard a fact that a lot of top flight talent will be available at the RB position this year and those options have much less baggage than Ricky Williams.

granted, but williams is a proven back, the teams drafting could end up with another cedric benson. i don't believe that carr is being shopped, and the texans will draft bush and keep carr.
 
Ricky will stay with Miami, Carr will stay with Houston.
 
Cold Pizza's Skip Bayless reported today.

I know this rumor has been going around here for some time now but on Cold Pizza today Skip reported his sources tell him that The Dolphins and the Texans are working on a trade that would send David Carr to the Dolphins so they can draft Vince Young. He did not mention what we would have to give up in return. It seems like this might be a possibility but take it with a grain of salt. :rolleyes:
 
cmon Carr, but it remains to be seen.
 
What if it's for our 1st? Would you consider doing it or not?
