So because he's named the starter of the lowly Seahawks immediately makes him a better option than Ryan Tannehill? Is that your logic?
 
Yeah and they could have drafted DeCastro and then what? Are the Stealers dumb for drafting a stud G who is out maybe forever now? 20/20.
 
I don't think it's Flynn playing bad but more about how well Russell Wilson is playing.....which does NOT surprise me at all. Me and a buddy of mine were talking before the draft that is Russell Wilson was 6'2, he's be the #2 overall pick, no question. Even at 5'11, we both said we'd draft him in the mid rounds b/c he's a great leader, is always calm in the pocket, and someone finds a way to get it done. He just has "it". Just like Kuechly just has "it". Many of us said that on here before the draft too. There's no defensive player i wanted more than him. His instincts are Ray Lewis-esque.....Zach Thomas in a bigger, more athletic body.
 
from day one i thought wilson was a better prospect than weedon and cousins. i was hoping for him if we would have passed on ryan. loved the kid coming out.
 
Hit 88 in the DeLorean and send any one of many FH posters back in time to make some of the picks we wanted at the time and our team's core looks like this:

QB Ryan
WR Nicks
TE Gronk
FS Thomas
LB Keuchly

But that's why we pay Ireland the big bucks.
 
Russell looks nasty-good so far - wow. Pete with the balls to start the short, low round QB pick - I like it.

He's going to make it tough on defenses this year if he can be consistent and stay healthy.
