Harvey Fialkov, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports free-agent DT Sam Adams' (Bills) agent, Angelo Wright, said Adams' meeting with the Miami Dolphins Tuesday, March 7, went well. However, no deal is expected to be finalized until the CBA dispute has been resolved.
 
Good news. I thought we were strong at D tackle though with Vickerson healthy and Wright coming on late last year.
 
I'm all for getting good players for the right price but damn...we're already loaded at D-Line.

Sounds like he's going to be signed though.
 
We do seem a little loaded, but that's alright. Holliday, Traylor, Zgonina, Wright, and Vickerson is good enough. However, having Traylor and Adams in the middle is a complete wall. I would think that if we sign him, someone would go.
 
Adams would be a very good pick up, he tires very easily but that is ok becasue we do have depth at DT. He is unbelievably quick of the ball, I cant even count the number of times i have thought he jumped offsides becasue he is in the backfield so damn quick. I think that he could def. give us 2 or 3 good years.
 
he would be great to add to the rotation. we could be on to something big with a solid starter from the draft, maybe even an impact type player if we are lucky. if we can somehow aquire a healthy drew brees we could be onto something huge...im talking home playoff game type big. saban has us on the autoban style fast track
 
what i wouldnt do for a home afc championship game and superbowl

Sam Adams would be a great pick up. We are already pretty solid on our DL, but guys like Keith Traylor, Sam Adams, Ted Washington, BIG John Henderson, and Marcus Stroud are big body players that will dramatically change the face or a DL where ever they go.
 
Probably wouldn't be surprising if Traylor left or retired, but man, can you imagine Traylor and Adams in there together on some plays? :horsey:
 
I think us going after Adams means Traylor isnt coming back. Hope im wrong. my guess is if we keep both at least Jeff Z has to be gone
 
I dont think Traylor will be gone unless he retires, his salary isnt high at all so it wouldnt be a cap problem to have him and Adams
