Some more hope for Miami's division hopes? NE's C Koppen and CB Gay out for season

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2225288

Will the Pats be able to continue to compete with all of these injuries? If they become too crippled to be able to win games, its possible Miami could STILL squeak into the Playoffs if we go on a roll.. But the way Losman played last week, the Bills might take advantage of the Patriots injury woes and take the division.

LoL... hope??? I don't think we could've beat out their 5th stringers

I don't think New England needed to be more injured to beat us....sad but true

:shakeno:

Hey it's not like we aren't playing a little bit heavy with injuries either. They're worse but we've also lost our two starting CBs(Madison sometimes and Poole for the year and Taylor hasn't been Taylor. It all starts with a victory this week against Cleveland, and I'm sure that's all Saban is preaching.

injuries are NOT an excuse, especially for Miami. They lost Tebucky, who was a huge liability in pass coverage. Poole a starter? How do you know? You don't.... He could've easily been beaten out by Daniels

The Pats have been DECIMATED with injuries, yest still find ways to win. The Phins have been very lucky when it comes to getting crushed by injuries

the pats will still win because they have a relatively weak schedule left...they will win the division and get mollywopped in the play-offs

that's so true. After the game I was like "man, we couldn't even beat there 2nd and 3rd stringers"

seriously Corey Dillion, the starting OT's, the starting Center (for half the game), there #2 reciever, and a bunch of fill in DB's still beat us...

Yikes.

Poole was almost a lock as a starter. Obviously the Patriots have more injuries and Miami has unfortunately fallen short in too many games. However they still have a chance.

More than likely New England is going to end up around 3-3 in its next six games. They'll be 8-7 looking for a win against us in the final week of the season. Miami needs to atleast go 2-1 in its next 3 games, try and win two out of three for the next three after and then the showdown in Foxboro could possibly tie us for the division although our losing three division hurts our chances

Well you can not tie the division and win with tie breakers so you have to win outright. Tough job don't you think? and the Dolphins need help already. NE has to lose 3 games MORE than the dolphins from here out.

wow, the patriots are dropping like flies, if only we were decent, this division is so weak this year

Now with Koppen gone for the Season....

We STILL have a shot at the Division crown. Let's face it, the AFC-LEast is really taking it on the Chin this year & it appears we are the healthiest of the Bunch, I imagine the Jills could possibly take control & the Pats will hang in there, but we have a pretty favorable schedule down the stretch (other than the Chargers).
If we only RAN the Darn Ball on our last posession of the last 2 games, we could possibly have 2 more wins than losses. It's almost over, but not yet. i think we take care of the Brownies this week & if we can keep it close, we'll be happy to have a shot that last game of the year in NE.

they will just beat us worse.

they have a great coach and qb.

and a team that believes, right down to the secretaries and ball boys.

It was our turn last season....how many injuries did the Dolphins have.
