I think Nick Saban might have lost his trust for GM Rick Spielman when Spielman starting talking about how much he liked Akron quarterback Charlie Frye, and Saban remembered Frye as the guy throwing the ball into the third row of the RCA Dome bleachers at the scouting combine. That's what I hear, anyway.
 
That is kind of funny. I doubt that one particular thing made Saban lose faith in Rick. Maybe that was just the straw that broke the camel's back, but I can't imagine one thing would kill all trust.

I sure am glad that Saban didn't listen to Speilman at all during the draft. I dont like Frye anyway and i dont know why the Browns took Frye over Walter.

Yes he does haunt my dreams. I try to imagine the phins winning games but I cant seem to do it with this @sshat @ qb. :sleep:

Hmm...don't think Saban ever had respect for Spielman...but that is interesting, if true.
