MERGED:Supporting our Fin Family in need in New Orleans

Amen to that brother, same here!! I've been through a few hurricanes including Andrew but luckily never been through a quarter as bad as what those people are going through. My thoughts and prayers go out to them!

My company that I work for will be donating to the Red Cross today. My wife and I will will donate to the Red Cross tonight. I am trying to get my company to adopt a family from New Orleans at Christmas, or a local church that can better assist the families in New Orleans.
 
Wow thats great FFIC, I plan on donating something, food and some money but what you'd like to do is very couragous of you and your family!
 
I just wanted to say thanks for the support. I wanted to let you know that the red cross or some of the agencies listed would be the best bet. We have sent ours to www.redcross.org. If you some extra, and you can spare it, the people who are suffering now, will more the appreciate the love and support. Thanks again!:)
