''I don't think I've ever been in a situation where it's been this seamless,'' Taylor said while at the Zo's Summer Groove Classic at Doral. ``Obviously, [Bill] Parcells and [GM Jeff] Ireland and their front office is a big step up from what was here in the past. I know I haven't played a game for them yet, but I'm ready to run through a brick wall for them.''

Another interesting nugget from this article:

Ireland said the Dolphins will head into the season with the receiving corps as currently constituted but would not rule out picking up a high-profile wideout ``during the course of the season.''

best defensive player fight will be between JP and JT. Best offensive player will be between Ronnie and Ginn. JT is going to surprise a lot us. People are saying he might have a little gas in the tank people are soon going to find out he just bought a full tank of gas and is going to mess up any player that gets in his way.

word. im predicting big things from JT. hes got great football IQ, which translates into int's and forced fumbles/recoveries. really looking forward to a couple old school game-changing plays from him this year (and hopefully next)

I'm so ****ing happy that he's back, i wanted one year under parcells for him, they deceived me last season by exiling him but he's back and i think something special might happen if he stays healthy. Not necessarily a DPOY repeat or monster sack numbers, but boy did our 3rd down defence sucked last year and now that you add him, two rookie corners and a good veteran safety like gibril wilson, the whole thing makes a huge difference and makes us better (on paper that is...) on those dreaded 3rd downs

we have reason for enthusiasm on defence IMO... if everyone can stay healthy, i expect big things out of that unit
