Terrell Buckley?!?!

With the recent news of Will Poole possibly being out for the season, i think we will sign t-buck within a few days. Hes an old veteran CB that has always played well. He also signs cheap 1 year-contracts which could be a good thing in this situation, and a good investment with the spare $ we have. Will Poole sits out this year, gets his rest and Buckley replaces him for the year. He Could be coming back to Miami for the 3rd time? Discuss.

Not a bad idea, should be taken into consideration. We don't have a thing to lose at all.

Time to call t-Buck?

An earlier thread, a few days ago, mentioned the thought of bringing Terrell Buckley in. If Will Poole is out for the season, maybe we need to give Buckley that call.

It would be a good idea. He is a veteran, he can make plays (gives them up too). He would be helpful to some of these younger guys and he'd be a good nickle guy. I say Howard will start opposite of Madison now. But we have to get some depth.

hey we could also get deon prime time sanders he did get 3 interseptions last year

I may be wrong, but I dont think t-buck is a "Saban type" player. I love the potential of Poole, but he wasnt even entrenched as out starter. This really sucks big time, but there will be someone that steps up.

This isn't even about needing another starter really. Howard, or maybe even Daniels could step up to do that. The question now is depth.

Will players get through training camp and preseason games with NO INJURIES? What about the regular season?

We could find ourselves lacking CB depth when teams go to 3, 4, or 5 WR sets. Anyone got images of the Jets Monday Night Miracle in their head? Watching Wilson get burned?

I never want to see that again! :fire:

The only good thing is that we still have time, and the June 1st cuts, to find the best of what is left out there.

Please Lord, NO! :shakeno:

I would welcome him back with open arms...it would give us a veteran corner that sam madison is very familiar with having played with him for many years
