Merged: Texans Release David Carr

We need to sign him ASAP. Better to get Carr for no compensation then trade something for Green.
 
Go Minnesota or Clevlend sign him.

This could mean the Green deal is done.
 
they just said on espn news that the fins were intersted in tradeing for him or just might wait till he is cut....looks like he was cut, now lets go sign him asap...and do the raiders get a chance at him before us or is it first to claim him?
 
I can't believe they couldn't get at least a mid-round pick for the guy.
 
**** him dont sign him, let him go to the other 3 teams n have 1 of em drop to us via draft.

he's a UFA. he gets to choose, he wasn't placed on waivers.
