Beat me to it! At this point we're signing people to play. That's my opinion. Apparently Saban believes this guy can contribute somewhere in our DT rotation. It makes sense. With Bowens and now Chester both gone, we needed another big run stuffer.
 
Is Bowens out for the season i just thought it was Vickeroson and Thompson
 
No. David Bowens should be fine and play vs. Denver.

But he is a DE not DT.
 
I 100% agree we need youth on the trenches. Does anyone know how old he is?

Man, the Jets fans are sure experts on our DT situation. Look at the inane ramblings of someone who calls himself JetInAbsentia:
"I wouldn't be too concerned, everybody. McGill, whatever his upside, cost us a sport on our NFLE allowance; the Manuel Wright bust cost Miami draft picks. We should also remember that Miami's DT corps is comprised of Keith Traylor followed up by a M*A*S*H unit. In short order, McGill should be starting at NT in which he will completely wilt under the strain of having to play the majority of defensive snaps. Miami's going to be as weak up the middle as ever - and if Zach Thomas goes down, it's all over."

Yeah, Manny Wright is a huge bust- that cost us draft pickS- plural. Okay numbnuts. ONE fifth-rounder. Can Wright play in a game first before he's called a bust. He's shown nothing but improvement throughout the pre-season. It's mind-boggling how stupid Jet fans are. Mind-boggling.
