The Jets have Conflict in the Ranks

I just heard it on ESPN Radio, the Duke said there is dissension in the Jets Camp. It said they were fighting amongst each other all day on sunday and then it said there were verbal disputes towards the defensive coordinator. The names I heard were Vilma and Law, but I didn't catch the actual infractions. Correct me if I'm wrong, but chemistry is an important aspect of football success. Imagine if we can expose some weaknesses offensively in thier defense early...It will be like throwing stones in a glass house in the ole' Meadowlands. Come on Linehan...DON'T LET US DOWN FROM THIS HIGH JUST YET!!! :D :D

Boy things are looking good for the Phins!!!

Their starting DT reed punched out Vilma. Gave him a bloody lip. Described as a "misunderstanding" in the ny area papers on monday...

Wow. Seems like the only thing Vilma misunderstood was how to duck.

yeah it's not getting any big press here -- no clip on tv - no talks on the sports shows - and it got coverage in the local area 2 days after the game - not a big deal -- both vilma and reed said it was frustration and they left the field cool with the situation and it was fine

Reminds me of Wanny.

I love to hear about dissension especially in the Jets team. I am really not surprised though that whole organization is pretty disfunctional.

Yeah no kidding...it's no wonder that the brilliant pats let this guy go. Eventually people should start respecting the fact that Belechik wouldn't being letting go a guy they need.

When they put on their cleats it will all be forgotten. They even may become best friends.

BTW they dont all have to like each other to play well together.

That pic of ole Herm says it all...and it`s only Week 2! We need to take advantage of any turmoil that might be brewing in NY, and kick these guys good and hard Sunday.

85, you are dead on there. Why would they want to publicize a problem...it would just incite more problems...instead they want to keep it quiet so that people won't doubt them this week against the fins. Please tell saban to use this as bulletin board material. "LOOK GUYS...You get under thier skin and this could happen. Leave your hearts on the field and we'll come home with a win!!"

Not for nothing, but I hope the Jets struggle and battle each other. That is the one franchise I really dislike. I would love to see them just implode.

Now back to reality... they were probably all frustrated after getting pounded on Sunday and some of that anger came into practice. They will be fine and still going to be a TOUGH game for us.
